Here is a rare photo of John Paoli. We can't have a top three in the cameraman world...because there was so many truly great story tellers, not just camera pointers. Most of these men could be great directors for they always knew what the show needed and had the ability to ANTICIPATE (what I feel is an absolute requirement for any technician) John, was graceful, as Willie Mays was in center field as a N Y Giant.
He certainly belongs on anyone's short-list of GREAT  cameramen.
