
Here is a photo Ed Sullivans' personal camerman George Moses (R.I.P,), who laughingly called himself "Ed Sullivans' personal camerman" because he was on Camera #1 always shooting Sullivan from the stage right apron while Sullivan introduced the acts. He did this for many many years but Mr. Sullivan did not even know his name. George wanted to write a book concerning his experiences on the Sullivan Show. As a courtesy, he went to Sullivan to ask his permission to write the book. Sullivan said no. In those days, at Christmas time, it was the custom for the shows to give the crew members a gift in appreciation of their good work. The Sullivan show never did this.....except finally one year they told the crew to line up on the stage and each was handed a small jar of jam
