Logo for the Apollo-Soyuz recovery about 300 miles from Hawaii in 1975, when the American team connected with the Russian Soyuz...we did the splashdown of the Apollo from a helicopter off the USS New Orleans carrier while the Russians landed in Siberia....spent 17 days at sea with CBS crew rehearsing the splashdown etc...I flew with a camera in a Navy chopper....quite an experience.
